Scorebox
Creating a brand and multi-platform layouts for a conceptual magazine
Overview
Scorebox is a (conceptual) sports magazine with a focus on hockey & basketball. They strive to cover all things about the sports, from personal athlete stories to insider journalist news, in a lively and informative manner. As such, to help meet this goal, their visuals are often bold and “actionous”; layouts are heavily inspired by and resemble sports graphics found on social media.
The main article and athlete featured for this project is Giannis Antetokounmpo, with 2-4 other stories making up the rest of the content. Three layouts have been designed: tablet, mobile, and web, with the featured article being adapted across each screen.

Colours
Other than black & white being the primary colours, Scorebox uses any colour depending on the featured athlete or team of articles. In this case, since Giannis Antetokounmpo is the chosen featured athlete and he plays for the Milwaukee Bucks, their related colour scheme of green is used (can be seen in subsequent pages of this document).
