Ledgical is a multicurrency accounting startup aiming to make accounting more simple, automated, and accurate.
As a part of the Shumka Centre's Design for Startups Fall 2022 program at Emily Carr University of Art + Design, I had the opportunity to work with and design for Ledgical, a multicurrency accounting startup. I worked with them when they were preparing for an MVP launch; a modern logo and brand identity that represented what they do and their values needed to be established.
Formerly known as Atrexis Systems Limited, we also tackled the problem of a new brand name. It had to be unique, simple, and related to the business; we came up with Ledgical as it is a portmanteau of the words "logical" and "ledger".
While the startup is on hold (currently as of October 2024), we came up with a brand identity that fit their vision and how they wanted to portray themselves as a professional and straightforward business. We also established a simple starter website design layout to display/market their software product; with placeholder imagery of their software application and photography being implemented at a later date whenever developed.
Tools used include Adobe Illustrator and Figma.
